Meet
Our Host
I’m Angie Nisbet, a born and bred country girl from North Western Queensland. I grew up on a cattle property and spent most of my life on the land. I am a rural mum of three and a wife. I have turned my hand at many professions throughout my life, all which have had a strong link to the agricultural industry. I now live on my property, south of Hughenden with my FIFO husband (electrician) and my energetic son Hugo, curly-locked blonde daughter, Tilli and Elka our littlest love.
RRR Women 2023 Emerging Enterprise Finalist.
This year marked the recognition of a small podcast for its impactful storytelling, as it emerged as a finalist in the RRR Women Emerging Enterprise Award. This accolade honours the accomplishments of women in rural, regional, and remote areas of Queensland. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to be in the company of inspiring women who are actively driving change in an industry they are passionate about.
